Ben “Thicccc” Kass-Mullet discovered early on in his childhood his love for all things disc. Born in the Ultimate wasteland of Seattle, Ben searched near and far for friends who could share his overpowering love for flying pieces of plastic, telling all “I just really like playing Frisbee”. Unfortunately, Seattle’s failure to produce people with commensurate joy in Frisbee forced BKM into other methods for making friends. Low-pitched, resonant sounds such as made by a large bell, things which make or become less sharp, and instruments for writing or drawing with ink, typically consisting of a metal nib or ball, or a nylon tip, fitted into a metal or plastic holder allowed Ben to branch out of his lonely crib.
His rapid change to extroversion coincided with other major alterations in his life. KM learned all too well about the extreme developments that puberty can produce. His thighs swelled to the size of tree trunks, his shoulders jutted out as if he had arms, and his height...well his height stayed mostly the same. But that never deterred the true Tufts muscle hamster. Ben kept his head held “high”, and soldiered on into high school, where he found that what he liked even more than playing frisbee was standing on the sideline injured watching the rest of his team play frisbee.
Finally, Ben arrived at Ultimate Heaven, Somerville, Massachusetts. But his integration into the Tufts E-men was not without hiccups. Ben went through his entire freshman year almost as if he was handcuffed, spending much of his free time...well, no one knows, because he wasn’t around. Additionally, his hips were deemed too rock solid, and his legs too equally long to play on the TEAM. The brutal oligarchy of Elephant Man leadership refused to let him try out until the spring, so he took up the holy GPP workout to fulfill the obligations set out for him. After a pretty average Freshman Year, Ben put in the work over the summer and is prepared for a breakout sophomore campaign; we all look forward to being on the team with him this year.
